In March 2020, the leaders of the Baker-Polito Administration’s Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative, including Housing and Economic Development Secretary Mike Kennealy and Mike Tamasi, President and CEO of AccuRounds, established the Manufacturing Emergency Response Team (MERT) to assist in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The MERT’s Mission: To support Massachusetts manufacturers in pivoting their operations to produce needed materials in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

SOMERVILLE, Mass. – The Massachusetts eHealth Institute’s (MeHI) has selected Hemorai, Mae, and SimpliFed as the winners of their spring Digital Health Sandbox Challenge. Each company will be awarded $50,000 to develop and test their digital health solutions with key partners in the Massachusetts ecosystem. The partners will work with the companies to accelerate research and development of technologies aimed at supporting the unique health needs of women+.

WORCESTER, Mass. –The MassCyberCenter has launched the Cyber Resilient Massachusetts Grant Program, a $1.4 million initiative to help local governments improve their cyber defenses. The program will provide municipalities with grants to fund narrowly focused cybersecurity technology upgrades identified through vulnerability assessments.
