Over nearly four decades, the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative has supported the evolving needs of the state's innovation economy in many ways.
The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative was founded in 1982 as the Massachusetts Technology Park Corporation. It was established by the legislature to advance the growth of the technology sector of the state’s economy.
In 1994, the agency changed its name and mission to the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, becoming a strategic agent and a facilitator of innovative and collaborative ventures.

- MassTech’s campus stands on the top of Powder Hill, the site of the first meeting house in Westborough, MA. The site was formerly occupied by the Lyman School for Boys, established in 1847. Learn more about the campus history here.
