Grant Solicitation for Right Care 4 You Grant Program - Closed

The Massachusetts eHealth Institute (“MeHI), a division of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (“MassTech Collaborative”), is offering grants for pilots that will both reduce healthcare costs for Massachusetts employers and the Commonwealth as a whole and develop success stories for Massachusetts digital health companies. MassTech Collaborative anticipates awarding up to a total of $500,000 in grants for projects that best meet these criteria.

MeHI is releasing this solicitation for applications from Massachusetts digital health companies to pilot their products and services with Massachusetts employers. To support both large and small employers, the program includes two tracks. Companies may submit applications for one or both tracks. Under Track One, a digital health company will partner with one or more employers to conduct one pilot implementation of their product or service. The project should affect a large cohort of employees and dependents and be expected to lead to a reduction in the employer’s healthcare costs. Under Track Two, a digital health company will propose a pilot project that employers can easily implement with minimal effort and that is expected to lead to a reduction in overall healthcare costs. MeHI will market selected Track Two Projects to Massachusetts employers who will then be able to apply to participate in one of the selected projects on a first-come, first-served basis.

Interested applicants are required to first submit a short concept paper by January 30, 2020. An independent Grant Evaluation Team will review the concept papers and make recommendations to MeHI on which respondents should be invited to complete full applications. MeHI will provide feedback to all respondents and send application materials to those selected to move to the next round. The Grant Evaluation Team will review all final applications and make funding recommendations to MeHI.
